Faro (FAO)

Faro Airport, officially known as Gago Coutinho Airport is the main international gateway to the Algarve region in southern Portugal. It is situated approximately 4m (2.5 miles) west of Faro. The airport is located near the Ria Formosa Natural Park, a protected lagoon system that is a haven for birdwatchers.
