Josep Tarradellas Barcelona–El Prat Airport, also known as Barcelona Airport or El Prat Airport, is the main international gateway to Barcelona and the second busiest airport in Spain. It was originally the base for the Spanish Navy’s Zeppelin fleet, but now handles the majority of flights in Catalonia and is located 74 kilometres (46 miles) from Barcelona city centre.
