King Shaka International Airport, also known as La Mercy Airport, serves the city of Durban, South Africa and is located 35 kilometres (22 miles) from the city centre. Opening in 2010, a month before the 2010 FIFA World Cup, it was designed to increase international services and forms one third of the country’s Golden Triangle of international airports. We currently provide ground services and operate an airport lounge. Air Menzies (AMI) is also located here.
