Menzies Aviation unveils flagship Pearl Lounge at Copenhagen Airport
01/05/26
Menzies Aviation, the leading service partner to the world’s airports and airlines, has refurbished its Pearl Lounge at Copenhagen Airport (CPH) as part of a global lounge transformation project.
The Copenhagen refurbishment forms part of Menzies Aviation’s global Pearl Lounge transformation project, a multi-year initiative designed to elevate the look, feel and functionality of its premium lounge portfolio worldwide. The programme focuses on upgrading facilities, embedding local design elements and delivering a consistently high-quality passenger experience, while supporting Menzies’ long-term growth ambitions in the premium hospitality space.
At Copenhagen Airport, Menzies has invested €2.7 million to reimagine the Pearl Lounge, enhancing the passenger experience while reflecting the local character and expectations of the Nordic market. The three-month refurbishment is now complete and ready for guests from 1 May 2026.
Building on more than nine years of operations at CPH, the refurbishment strengthens Menzies’ premium lounge offering across the Nordic region.
Located in the departures terminal at the top of gates C after passport control, the new Pearl Lounge offers passengers a premium space to relax, work and refresh. Spanning 800 square metres and accommodating more than 180 guests, it is the largest lounge in Pearl’s global network.
The refurbished lounge reflects a distinctly Danish aesthetic, drawing inspiration from Nordic design principles and local culture. Clean lines, natural materials and an emphasis on light and openness create a calm, contemporary space with a strong sense of place, while retaining the comfort and quality associated with the Pearl Lounge brand.
Guests have access to complimentary Wi-Fi, alongside a range of dedicated zones including seating and dining areas, a buffet station, quiet and relaxation spaces shower facilities, workstations and a private business room for meetings and small gatherings.
The food and beverage offering has also been upgraded, with a selection of locally inspired hot and cold dishes, a salad bar, vegan and gluten‑free options, and local wines and draft beers. Pearl’s premium hospitality concept is aligned with Menzies Aviation’s All In sustainability strategy, with a focus on reducing waste and prioritising local suppliers and brands to help minimise transport‑related emissions.
The Pearl Lounge at Copenhagen Airport is open to business class passengers and eligible loyalty programme members, including Priority Pass, LoungeKey and DragonPass holders. Walk‑in access is also available (including group offers), subject to availability.
The refurbished lounge was officially unveiled at a ribbon-cutting ceremony on 30 April, attended by Peter Krogsgaard, Chief Commercial Officer, Peter Balling Teisen, Director Real Estate and Connie Alexandra, Business Development Manager Real Estate from Copenhagen Airport. They were joined by Jo Harrison, Menzies’ Senior Vice President Pearl Lounge Transformation; Miguel Gomez Sjunnesson, Executive Vice President Europe; and Giovanna Perucatti, Vice President Lounges Europe & Global Lounge BID Support.

Jo Harrison, Senior Vice President Pearl Lounge Transformation, Menzies Aviation, said: “Copenhagen Airport is a strategically important location within our European network, and refurbishing of our flagship Pearl Lounge forms part of our global lounge transformation project.
