Menzies Aviation, the leading service partner to the world’s airports and airlines, has announced two senior leadership appointments to support the continued growth and transformation of its global Pearl lounge business.
Jo Harrison has been appointed Senior Vice President Pearl Lounge Transformation. In this new role, Jo will lead the development and implementation of a global service standard across the company’s growing lounge network, driving operational excellence and customer experience under the Pearl brand as we expand our global lounge offering into new locations.
Jo joined Menzies 25 years ago to establish ground handling operations at London Luton Airport (LTN). Since then, she has held a variety of operational and leadership roles, including customer key account management, before moving into a Group position. Most recently, she served as Senior Vice President People Development and Experience, where she played a key role in enhancing employee engagement and leadership capability across Menzies.
Giovanna Perucatti has been promoted to Global Lounge Bid Support for new projects, alongside her continued leadership of lounges in Europe. An experienced senior business development professional, Giovanna began working with National Aviation Services (NAS) in 2019 before joining Menzies in 2021 as Lounge Operation Manager in Naples. She was appointed Lounges & Business Development Manager in April 2023 and promoted to Vice President Lounges Europe in July 2024.
With growing demand for premium travel experiences, Pearl’s global network of 55-plus lounges together with its Fast-track and Meet and Assist services is set to play an increasingly important role in enhancing the airport journey. Through strategic investment in its people, systems, and operations, Pearl aims to deliver a seamless and exceptional experience for passengers worldwide.
