Job summary
Fuels Operations Managers in aviation fuelling oversee the end-to-end delivery of fuelling services across airport operations. They lead teams, manage resources, and ensure full compliance with safety, environmental, and service standards. This role is essential to maintaining operational efficiency, supporting flight schedules, and driving continuous improvement across fuelling operations.
Roles responsibilities
- Manage daily fuelling operations to ensure safe, timely, and compliant service delivery
- Lead and develop fuelling teams, including supervisors and refuellers
- Oversee fuel quality control processes and ensure regulatory compliance
- Coordinate with airport stakeholders, including airlines, ground handling teams, and fuel suppliers
- Ensure accurate reporting and documentation of fuel usage and delivery
- Support strategic planning, budgeting, and effective resource allocation
Technical skills
- Operational management of fuelling equipment and ground service vehicles
- Advanced knowledge of safety procedures, fuel quality control, and regulatory standards
- Proficient in radio and digital communication systems
- Able to use data analysis and reporting tools to monitor and improve operational performance
