Named after United States Navy pilot Charles McGhee Tyson who was killed in WWI, the McGhee Tyson airport delivers many aviation services including commercial airline services, air cargo operations, military aviation and flight schools. It’s located 19 kilometres (12 miles) south of downtown Knoxville, and is a 30-minute drive to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. We provide ground services and air cargo services here.
