Liverpool John Lennon Airport can be found on the estuary of the river Mersey, 11 kilometres (7 miles) southeast of Liverpool City Centre, considered the UK’s cultural capital. Named after former Beatle, John Lennon, it was originally called Speke Airport. Menzies provide fuel services at the airport.
