Kannur International Airport serves the North Malabar region of Kerala, Kodagu and Mysore districts of Karnataka, and the Mahé district of Puducherry in India. Located 28 kilometres (17 miles) east of Kannur and 24 kilometres (15 miles) east of Thalassery, it opened in 2018. It has one terminal that handles all domestic and international passengers and Menzies currently operates a lounge.
