Frankfurt Airport, also known as Rhein-Main-Flughafen, is a major international airport located 12 kilometres (7.5 miles) southwest of Frankfurt, the fifth-largest city in Germany and one of the world’s leading financial centres. As well as being the busiest airport in Germany, it is one of the busiest in Europe. Air Menzies International (AMI) opened here in 2022.
