Baltimore Airport, also known as Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport or BWI Airport, is the busiest airport in Maryland. Located 14 kilometres (9 miles) south of downtown Baltimore and 48 kilometres (30 miles) northeast of Washington D.C., it serves both metropolitan areas.
