Menzies Innovation Live seeks the next breakthrough in aviation innovation

Menzies Aviation, the leading service partner to the world’s airports and airlines, has launched its second global search for cutting-edge solutions that have the potential to transform the future of aviation services.

Innovators, startups, and technology pioneers are invited to submit concepts that can deliver step-change improvements in efficiency, productivity, and safety & security across Menzies’ global network spanning 350 airports.

From AI‑driven operational tools to automation, hardware, software, data solutions, Menzies is looking for partners who want to push boundaries with bold new ways of thinking.

Menzies Innovation Live – how it works

• Submit your innovation
  Applicants are invited to share their solution and outline how it could enhance aviation services worldwide. Email innovation.ideas@menziesaviation.com to register interest by 13 March 2026 and receive a proposal pack and schedule.

• Pitch at Innovation Live
  The top four submissions will be shortlisted and invited to present their ideas to a panel of Menzies Aviation senior leaders and innovation specialists.

• Run a proof of value
  Winning concepts will have the opportunity to run a live proof‑of‑value trial at one of Menzies’ airport locations, testing their solution directly within an operational environment.

• Scale across the network
  Successful trials may progress to a commercial partnership, enabling innovators to scale rapidly through Menzies’ global network.

Menzies Innovation Live provides a rare opportunity for forward‑thinking companies to test, refine, and deploy their technology in a real‑world airport setting – accelerating the route from concept to commercial adoption in partnership with the world’s largest aviation services company.

Menzies held its first innovation showcase event in 2022. From the nine ideas pitched, five were taken forward for proof-of-value trials and then implemented in our business, including an inventory robot at our London Heathrow cargo facility.
