Menzies Aviation’s 2023 achievements and future commitments

Reflecting on our achievements in 2023, it’s clear that Menzies Aviation is positioned for sustained growth and ongoing success in the years to come. Our revenue soared to $2.2 billion, marking a remarkable 10.7% increase from the previous year, with an EBITDA of $318 million.

These robust results are testament to the excellence of the Menzies Aviation brand and the exceptional efforts of our team. Together we served 215 million passengers, fuelled 3.2 million aircraft, handled 2 million tonnes of cargo, and managed 1.3 million aircraft turns – an achievement we can all take immense pride in.

The 45,000 members of the Menzies family are constantly making sacrifices to achieve our business goals, while consistently prioritizing safety, delivering exceptional service, and fostering a culture of collaboration and respect. Safety is at the heart of our business, and what should remain top of mind for all of us. I am pleased to report that we outperformed the industry average to make Menzies a safer workplace and service provider to our partners.

As Chairman, I advocate for leading with purpose as a cornerstone of corporate success. As we strive to be the undisputed world leader in aviation services, we’ve made concerted efforts to embed sustainability into our operational decisions, recognizing the ongoing journey towards further progress. We’re particularly proud of initiatives such as our partnership with TENT, which commits us to having 1% of our workforce comprised of refugees by 2026.

The aviation industry is entering a thrilling phase of evolution as it has now almost fully recovered from the pandemic. It is only up from here and Menzies Aviation is fully committed to delivering value to all stakeholders. With a clear strategy for sustainable growth and the unwavering dedication of our team, we stand ready for another year of expansion and accomplishment.
