Menzies Aviation, the leading service partner to the world’s airports and airlines, has opened a new Pearl Lounge at Hurghada International Airport (HRG), providing passengers with a comfortable space to relax before their flights and further growing its premium lounge offering in Egypt.
Situated in Terminal 1, the international lounge is open 24 hours a day and offers seating for up to 50 guests. The Pearl Lounge at Hurghada is open to all travellers and offers walk ins and online bookings. Amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi, hot and cold buffet food options and a selection of non-alcoholic beverages, with halal and vegetarian choices available.
This is the third Pearl Lounge to open at HRG and the 24th in Egypt, where the brand now operates lounges and meet and assist services at eight airports, including Sharm El Sheikh, Sphinx, Marsa Alam, Aswan, El Alamein, Luxor and Borg El Arab.
In the coming months, two new Pearl Lounges will open at Aswan International Airport (ASW) and Luxor International Airport (LXR).
The Hurghada lounge was officially inaugurated earlier this month at a ceremony attended by airport leaders, airline representatives and partners, with the ribbon cut by Pearl’s local leadership team alongside the Director of Hurghada International Airport, Major General Pilot.

The new Pearl Lounge at Hurghada forms part of Menzies Aviation’s wider strategy to expand and enhance its network of Pearl Lounges, which now spans 53 lounges in 18 countries, creating premium airport experiences that combine local character with consistent service standards across the world.
