Menzies Aviation, the leading service partner to the world’s airports and airlines, has achieved ISO/IEC 27001 certification for Information Security and ISO/IEC 20000-1 certification for IT Service Management.
The ISO certifications, which were awarded to Menzies Aviation following a rigorous independent audit, are the global standard across all industries. They confirm that Menzies has the frameworks and controls in place to manage information security risks and ensure the consistent delivery of IT services.
As resilient digital infrastructure becomes increasingly central to aviation operations, the certifications provide additional assurance to partners across Menzies’ global network of 347 airport locations.
They apply to the operation, maintenance and development of IT systems that underpin its services, including networks and related service management processes across multiple locations.
Rami Al-Haddad, Chief Information Officer, Menzies Aviation, said: “Our operations rely heavily on digital systems so ensuring they are secure, reliable and well-governed is essential. Achieving ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO/IEC 20000-1 certifications demonstrates that we have the right frameworks in place to protect information and deliver reliable IT services that our operations depend on every day.
“As our business continues to grow and evolve, these foundations are increasingly important. They also reinforce our role as a trusted partner, supporting our customers with secure, resilient and future-ready services.”
Menzies continues to invest in technology, systems and expertise to ensure its global airport operations meet the evolving expectations of airline partners, airports and regulators.
