Menzies Aviation, the leading service partner to the world’s airports and airlines, has appointed Marco di Mario as Executive Vice President Fuels.
The appointment reflects Menzies’ commitment to delivering safe, efficient and integrated fuelling solutions for airlines, airports and fuel suppliers worldwide. The company provides into-plane (ITP) fuelling services alongside the operation and management of fuel storage and distribution infrastructure on behalf of airports and fuel suppliers.

With an established fuels footprint in Europe and the Americas and further expansion planned in Oceania & South East Asia (OSEA) and Middle East, Africa & Asia (MEAA), Menzies supports customers at every stage of the fuelling process – from fuel receipt and storage through to aircraft delivery. This integrated approach helps airlines enhance on-time performance and safety, while enabling airports and fuel suppliers to maximise compliance, and operational resilience.
As EVP Fuels, Marco will continue to oversee the European fuels business while driving growth initiatives across OSEA and MEAA. He will work closely with regional leadership teams, including Kevin Lager, SVP Fuel Americas, to ensure a coordinated, end-to-end service for customers worldwide.
Marco brings more than 20 years of aviation fuels experience, with senior roles at Skytanking, and Shell Aviation. Since joining Menzies Aviation in 2022, he has overseen significant expansion of the European fuels network, including the launch of ITP operations at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG), and multiple start-ups across the Netherlands, Germany, and Denmark.
This strengthened leadership structure underscores Menzies Aviation’s commitment to being a long-term strategic partner to airlines, combining safety leadership, operational excellence and a growing global network.
