Menzies Aviation appoints new Chief Safety & Training Officer

Menzies Aviation, the leading service partner to the world’s airports and airlines, has announced the appointment of Yogesh Parekh as Chief Safety & Training Officer, effective 1 December.

The introduction of the Chief Safety & Training Officer role reflects Menzies Aviation’s ongoing commitment to enhancing its global safety culture and ensuring that training remains resilient, future-ready, and aligned with the needs of its growing network.

With over 30 years of aviation experience, Yogesh brings deep expertise and a strong track record in safety and risk management. Since joining Menzies Aviation, Yogesh has held various roles in operations, safety, audit and risk, including three years as SVP Group Risk before taking up his most recent position as SVP Risk & GSE MEAA in 2024.

A highly accomplished safety professional, Yogesh has extensive experience developing policies, processes, and programmes that strengthen risk management across global operations. Based in Dubai, he will work closely with Menzies’ regional risk leaders to drive consistent standards and deliver continuous improvement.
