Working Together to Boost Safety and Security

Safety and Security workshop held for teams across West, Central Africa and the Middle East

This week, a safety & security workshop was held at Accra Airport attended by teams from Group Risk, regional operations, and safety and security managers from Airport Handling Services (AHS) stations throughout West, Central Africa and the Middle East; Accra (Ghana), Amman (Jordan), Bangui (Central African Republic), Malabo (Equatorial Guinea) and Cotonou (Benin).

Hosted by the airport’s regional management, the workshop addressed the various challenges that stations could face in the region and discussed potential solutions.

Bob Newman, Head of Group Risk, said, “The event was a great opportunity for everyone to meet in person and to share experiences and ideas from each airport. I was delighted to see everyone well engaged in the workshop activities which triggered plenty of thought provoking discussions, further enhancing the high standards already being delivered across the AHS operations.”
