Successful Dublin Station Launch

A new Menzies station opened at Dublin Airport on 1 May, handling International Airline Group (IAG) airlines: British Airways, British Airways CityFlyer, Vueling and Iberia Express.

In the first two weeks of operation, the team have handled almost 500 turnarounds and over 44,000 passenger arrivals and departures.

Tracey McCartney, Customer Success Manager for IAG Accounts, said: “The Dublin team have performed incredibly well to achieve what they did from day one.”

Dublin’s achievements continued on 8 May with the introduction of a new Icelandair route of six weekly flights between Dublin and Reykjavik.

Nikki Edwards, Menzies Aviation’s Customer Success Manager UK and Ireland, said: “A massive thanks to Andrea Sweetlove and her great team, who mounted an incredible effort to make this a success. The customer is
very happy: Angie Condon, Icelandair Area Manager UK & Ireland, was in attendance for the inaugural flight and is very impressed with the amount of support Menzies provided to the Icelandair team.”
