A new frontier for Simplicity

Menzies Aviation’s US subsidiary Simplicity USA has won a substantial contract award from Frontier Airlines to cover its largest operation at Denver.

From 17 September, Simplicity will provide ground handling services for the low cost carrier’s 67 daily flights through the airport. At a total of 22,000 turns per year, Denver traffic represents 40% of the airline’s total seats.

“It brings me great pleasure to announce this deal,” said John Redmond, SVP Americas. “Added to our existing business with Frontier elsewhere in the network, it means we are now responsible for a very large percentage of their total flying. That’s a terrific endorsement of the work our people are doing for this customer.”

Our Frontier business at Denver will cover ramp services, passenger services, short tows and operations, and will employ nearly 300 people, bringing our total roster at the station to almost 800.
