100% Audit Score for Bogota

Menzies Aviation’s Ground Handling team at El Dorado International Airport in Bogota, Colombia (BOG) earned 100% in their recent 8 Pillar Audit. The 8 Pillar Programme sets out the minimum standards we expect to find across our global operations, driving excellence and consistent service and demonstrating opportunities for improvement.

Sylvia Trost, SVP Central and South Americas, said: “I am very proud of my entire team under the lead of our General Manager, Mario Echeverri. This unprecedented result is due to the consistently excellent work of the whole team.”

Yogesh Parekh, Head of Internal Audit (Operations), said: “This is a fantastic result and a first in my career. No other Menzies Station has ever reached 100% - it’s truly impressive. Station and Regional management have embraced the spirit of continual improvement, ensuring that learnings from past audits were cascaded throughout the station and the country. Each year we have seen 8 Pillar score improvements from BOG, with zero CAT A Aircraft Damage incidents in the last two years. This result and their improvement as a whole is a testament to the team for their passion to strive for excellence. They’re a great team with an exemplary approach.
