UK stations contribute to Flying Start fundraising

Menzies Aviation provided great support to British Airway’s Flying Start fundraising, helping to raise over £8,000 in just one week.

Flying Start is the global charity partnership between British Airways and Comic Relief aimed at tackling poverty in the communities in which BA operate. Various events were hosted throughout the UK for Red Nose Day, including a Rock Choir at Glasgow Airport and the Red Hot Chilli Pipers in both Glasgow and Edinburgh.

Andy Lord, Menzies Aviation Executive Vice President, EMEA, said: “Flying Start is a terrific charity and it was great to see so many of our staff throughout the UK getting fully involved in the fundraising, helping to raise the profile of the cause.”
