Re-launched CCTC Event Leaves Lasting Impact

Cross Cultural Team Challenge event raised over £30,000 for Bikeworks

Menzies Aviation are delighted to have raised over £30,000 for Bikeworks, including the donation of a van for the All Ability Club.

The keys to the van were handed over at the Cross Cultural Team Challenge event at the Velodrome last month. Bikeworks will use this van to transport the specially-designed all ability bicycles to a range of London communities.

The second Cross Cultural Team Challenge will kick-off later this month. 12 Managers from across the Menzies network will be supporting ‘I Have A Dream’, based in Whangerai, New Zealand. The charity supports over 1,500 children from low decile schools through their education, helping to build belief in their potential and choices.

The Menzies Aviation team will support the charity’s work by providing the children with a series of ‘dream day trips.’ These unique experiences aim to inspire dreams and provide the children with memories for a lifetime. The team’s work and funds will also provide a legacy fund for future activities.

As with the UK activities, our Cross Cultural Team blog will bring you all the latest news from New Zealand.
