Norwegian operates first transatlantic flight from Amsterdam

May heralded a milestone for our Amsterdam team, with Norwegian operating its first transatlantic flight out of Schiphol Airport, flying to New York’s JFK Airport. The route flies four times a week with a 787-900, a new aircraft for the team in Amsterdam.

Femke van Veen, Business Unit Manager, said: “The start of this operation is an exciting opportunity for our unit. Thanks to our Oslo colleagues who assisted us with preparation by showing our trainers their operation and providing them with valuable advice to ensure a smooth start-up to the route.”
