Night time de-icing at Oslo Airport

Our Station team at Oslo airport are well versed in the art of aircraft de-icing - but it’s safe to say that this image captures a challenge which is remarkable, even for them. Five rigs were required to de-ice this
enormous Cargolux 747 Freighter when it visited the airport in December.

Menzies Aviation Oslo has capacity to handle 110 de-icing fl ights every day in temperatures as low as -18 degrees celsius, and was recently featured on Norwegian national television in recognition of the station’s
technical capabilities.
