Menzies Oslo Handles New Bombardier Flight

Air Baltic’s inaugural Bombardier CS300 arrived in Oslo Airport last month

The Menzies Aviation team in Oslo were thrilled to handle the arrival of Air Baltic’s inaugural Bombardier flight last month.

The new Bombardier CS300 is the latest innovation in aircraft engineering, with a lightweight airframe and carbon components. The aircraft can carry 146 passengers in a specially designed cabin, providing passengers with more comfort for short and medium haul flights.

The aircraft arrived on schedule from Riga and was allocated a stand with additional space for Ground Handling operations. Operational staff, including Training Coordinators and Duty Managers, were present for the inaugural flight to observe the new procedures for Ground Handling.

Sam Greenwood, Safety, Security & Training Manager, Menzies Aviation Oslo, said: “We were pleased to see the Air Baltic flight arrive on time, and to learn a lot of valuable information for safely handling Bombardier CS300 flights. We hope to see more of these new aircraft in the future.”
