Menzies Melbourne wins five awards from key airline

The Menzies Aviation team at Melbourne Tullamarine Airport (MEL) have won five awards for excellent service from key customer Malaysia Airlines.

Kamal Kumar Brang, MEL’s Malaysia Airlines Station Manager, presented Chris Duffield (VP Ground Handling VIC, TAS and SA) with the following awards for the team’s 2018 performance:

  • Champion: Best Station Performance Award
  • Champion: Best On Time Performance
  • Best Station: Zero Accidents
  • First Runner Up, Best Station: Mishandled Baggage
  • Special Award: Major Flight Disruption

The MEL team were extremely proud to receive this recognition for their work for Malaysia Airlines, and attended an afternoon tea with airport management and Menzies leadership to celebrate.
