Menzies Macau welcome Far Eastern Air Transport

This week Menzies Macau welcomed new carrier, Far Eastern Air Transport, to their operations with a new flight between Macau (MFM) and Kaohsiung (KHH), Taiwan. With services commencing on 1st December, the carrier is offering two daily flights between the two cities.

Far Eastern Air Transport is an international carrier based in Taiwan, established in 1957. The airline currently operates an all McDonnell Douglas fleet: four MD-82 and four MD-83, both carrying 165 passengers. The carrier is also preparing to acquire new Boeing 737-800 jets over the next five years. Far Eastern Air Transport  has grown its network to a total of 17 destinations offering domestic and international flights throughout Asian regions, including some of the main cities in China.  

With this addition, there are now a total of 4 carriers operating the route between Macau and Kaohsiung. Far Eastern Air Transport, Air Macau and EVA Air provide daily services for the route, budget airline Tigerair Taiwan offers 5 return flights per week.
