Heathrow Celebrates Inaugural Shenzhen Flight

Our team at London Heathrow Airport (LHR) began operations with Shenzhen Airlines last month, with the inaugural flight departing on 30 October.

The new contract sees Menzies Aviation handling a three-times weekly direct service to Shenzhen, China, where the airline is headquartered. The city is known as China’s Silicon Valley and is a mega city of 12 million people.

Tomeu Mas, VP LHR said: “Shenzhen Airlines is a subsidiary airline of Air China and fits nicely into our Star Alliance handling portfolio in Terminal 2 at Heathrow. We’re really pleased to expand our operation at LHR by an additional 150 flights a year.”
