Hamilton team collect air Transat Best Station Award

Air Transat have recognised the Menzies team at John C. Munro Hamilton International Airport (YHM) as their best station of 2018, citing exceptional performance across categories including Safety, Customer Service, Baggage reconciliation and On Time Performance - which was scored at 100%. 

Ahead of YHM’s first Air Transat departure of the season, Sergio Matos, the airline’s Director - Airport Standards and Procedures, arrived to present their award and personally thank the team.

Phil White, General Manager - Hamilton, said: “This is a shining example of how great things can happen with the right crew - and lots of hard work and continuous effort.

“We are less than 50 individuals in an open-air, Delegates from an open-air, ground-boarding station, but we provide a one-stop handling shop for our customers and are proud to deliver excellence, from touchdown to takeoff - whatever the weather. “Congratulations to my team. They’re small, but mighty.”
