First week success for Heathrow "Ultra Clean" team

Last week, the London Heathrow (LHR) Menzies team began the "Ultra-Clean" programme for British Airways (BA), providing deep clean and carpet shampoo services for the airline’s long- and short-haul aircraft.
 
This marks the start of a significant three-year contract, with long-haul operations running 7 days a week, and short haul night shifts running Monday to Friday. We welcome a team of over 100 staff into the Menzies family, located at LHR's BA engineering base.
 
Operations Manager Tracey Cogswell will lead the team, working directly with Martin Wingrove, Head of Cabin Services. Martin said: “We are delighted to be awarded the British Airways Ultra-Clean contract at LHR. This is an exciting opportunity and we are delighted to have a truly dedicated workforce to meet our customer’s expectations every single day.”
 
John Henderson SVP UK & Ireland said: “It was a pleasure to welcome and meet the team for the first day of operations. I am excited by the enthusiasm from the team, which will help to deliver excellent service for British Airways and build on our partnership.
