Cross Cultural Team Challenge 2017

Later this year, Menzies Aviation representatives from around the world will be visiting and supporting two charities as part of the Menzies Cross Cultural Team Challenge.

The teams, split into two groups of 12, will make a lasting impact by contributing towards the work of their chosen charities while learning more about the countries, communities and cultures they are supporting.

One team will work with a social enterprise in Hackney, East London, called ‘Bikeworks’. They will undertake a cycling challenge to raise money for the UK’s first All Ability Cycling Club. Open to anyone, the service provides cycling opportunities for people from marginalised communities and people with physical and learning disability from across London.

The second team will be visiting New Zealand and will work with ‘I Have A Dream,’ a charity operating in Whangerai, North of Auckland, for a week. The charity provides long term “navigators” – designated representatives that follow 1500 children from four low decile schools through their education, helping to build self-esteem and realise their potential. The team is aiming to support the navigators in building and cementing their long term relationships with the children by organising a series of day trips and providing a legacy fund for future activities.

Your donations will be of great help to the teams and support is greatly appreciated. Please visit to find out more and donate.
