Bermuda Airport Awarded American Airlines' Customer Cup

American Airlines recently recognised the contribution of Menzies Aviation’s team in making Bermuda their top performing station for Exemplary Bag Handling, Punctual Turn Times and Customer Feedback.

The Customer Cup is awarded to American Airlines staff who help improve the overall customer experience for the Airline’s passengers, whether through excellent processes, strong customer service interaction, or baggage handling. As the sole service provider at Bermuda the award was shared between Menzies staff and the American Airlines customer service team.

This is the Bermuda’s second award this year, having won the same categories in the first quarter.

Brian McCormick, General Manager Bermuda stated; “Menzies Aviation commenced operations in BDA by taking over an existing operator and quickly set out to transform the business. By winning the Customer Cup twice this year, we feel this transformation has been achieved. Well done to all on the ramp, cabin cleaning, aircraft & GSE maintenance teams!”
