AirAsia opens second Malaysian route from Macau

Menzies Macau are excited to welcome a new route from Macau to Johor Bahru, Malaysia, operated by AirAsia. The inaugural flight took place in November, and was preceded by a ribbon-cutting ceremony with delegates from Menzies Macau and AirAsia, including Celia Lao, CEO AirAsia Hong Kong and Macau.

Johor Bahru is one of the three largest cities in Malaysia and a top holiday destination, renowned for it’s extensive shopping, entertainment and breathtaking natural landscapes. This new route offers two direct flights to the city per day.

Peter Chan, Head of Ground Operations Menzies Macau, said: “I’m delighted that passengers can now fly to Johor Bahru directly from Macau, bring higher footfall through the station and expanding our services with this airline.”
