Aberdeen team makes a Santa trip extra special for an extra special passenger

In the spirit of Christmas, the Passenger Services team at Aberdeen Airport helped to make a trip extra special for one of their passengers last week on being informed that the little girl was getting her wish to visit Santa in Lapland from the ‘Make a Wish’ foundation.

Macy, who has incurable cancer, was given a special announcement when boarding and called forward to receive a selection box and teddy along with a letter written by Santa, all arranged by the team. They also arranged for Macy and her family to meet the captain and the crew.

Karen Milne, Station Manager Aberdeen, said, “The family were so grateful for everything the team did for them and I am beyond proud of their efforts. Our team often go over and above to help customers, but this was really special.”
